Western Petroleum Management (WPM) is committed to Health and Safety management, by employing safety orientated practices both in the office and field. WPM strives to minimize the risk to its employees, visitors, contractors, sub-contractors and the environment.

- WPM is proud to have earned a Small Employer Certificate of Recognition, “SECOR”, awarded to petroleum industry companies who have a Health and Safety program that meets industry standards with Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) program
- In addition to our SECOR award, WPM maintains memberships in ISNetworld, PICS, Enform, DriverCheck, WorkSafe BC, Escreen and Alberta Construction Safety Association
- WPM has also implemented an HS&E compliant safety manual
- WPM maintains a high standard of work place safety at all times. Supervisors are required to hold valid up-to-date safety tickets, WCB and insurance to perform duties
