With over 30 years in oil and gas services, Gord Shmyrko has built a career around engineering innovation and strategic growth. He had roles at Imperial Oil, Shell, and Advantage Energy Services, where his work in asset optimization generated over a billion dollars in client value.
Gord’s leadership in well optimization and strategic planning led to the founding of Tecskor Corporation, aligning operational goals with software-driven solutions. He also helped scale a civil earthworks company from $6M to $20M in annual revenue through business development and Indigenous partnerships.
Since joining WPM Chemical in 2024, Gord has led the development of the nanoActive product line—enhancing pipeline flow, protection, and oil recovery using advanced nanoparticle technology. His work supports WPM’s mission to deliver innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
